We require all Permanent Jewelry clients, regardless of age, to sign our Permanent Jewelry Consent Form prior to their appointment.

If you are a minor, between the ages of 7 and 17, you will need a parent or legal guardian present at the time of welding to fill out our Permanent Jewelry Consent Form.

No worries, we can add a clasp to any of our permanent chains to make them removable.

We use 14k gold, sterling silver, and gold-filled chains, but like anything you wear every day, some wear and tear is totally normal.

Everyone’s skin chemistry is different, and exposure to various products or elements may affect your jewelry over time. A little extra care goes a long way!

💧 Cleaning Tips:

* Use a soft toothbrush with a little mild soap and gently scrub your jewelry, then rinse with warm water. 

* For a quick shine, a jewelry polishing cloth works great too!

🏥 Medical Situations

Need to remove your jewelry for a medical reason (like an MRI, pacemaker, surgery, or pregnancy)?

Please ask medical staff (if possible) to cut the jump ring—not the chain. We can usually re-weld it for you! Depending on the condition of your chain, a small fee may apply.

If the chain can’t be saved, don’t worry—reach out and we’ll talk about your options.

Permanent Jewelry:

All Permanent Jewelry Sales are Final-

It is the responsibility of the client to approve the chain selection and sizing of the jewelry prior to welding.  

Once cut, the size of jewelry cannot be adjusted without re-cutting and/or re-welding the chain, which may incur an additional fee.

No Refunds or Exchanges after the piece is welded.

Clients agree to voluntarily assume all risks associated with the welding process and the wearing of permanent jewelry. By receiving our services, Headed West is released from any liability related to the jewelry application or removal process including injury, damage to clothing, accessories, or other personal items resulting from the welding process.

If your jewelry breaks within 14 days due to a welding issue, we will re-weld it at no cost. Repairs or re-welding after 14 days may incur a small fee.

In order to protect the longevity of your Headed West Jewelry please follow all recommended care instructions and avoid activities, materials, and products that could pull, stretch, corrode, hinder the integrity of, or potentially break your jewelry. 

Headed West uses high-quality 14K Gold, Sterling Silver, and Gold-Filled materials: however, normal wear and tear may occur over time*. Headed West shall not be liable for any allergic reactions or skin irritation that may occur.

*Every person’s skin sensitivity, body chemistry, exposure to corrosive materials, and daily activities will vary. We cannot anticipate the use, frequency, exposure, and exact ingredients found in, but not limited to body care products, skincare products, hair care products, perfumes, laundry products, cleaning agents, swimming pools, etc.
